I was invited to join a few friends for a nice dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. To start the ambiance was nicely decorated, with the wood and metal accents. The staff were pleasant and friendly. To top if off, the food was excellent. The flavors were delicately seasoned to a delicious dining experience. As much as a shrimp penne pasta has a strong cheese flavor this dish took it just beyond and had something extra. The Caesar salad was nicely garnished with Parmesan shavings and a nice dressing. To kick it off even further, my friends shared my birthday with the staff and the cheese cake was creamy and smooth. I didn't expect to be celebrating my belated birthday, but it was a pleasant surprise to. Make the night even sweeter. I would definitely go back again and try some of their other dishes.

Pat was fantastic! Our table really enjoyed him. He was present, patience, and kind. Ashley was managing this evening and greeted us when she saw us with such warmth and kindness. She is like a ray of sunshine. The 3 of us ladies dining this particular night have been to The Arbour together a few times and Ashley remembered us. We all just love her and her wonderful energy. Judy also came over to visit and greet us. She knows us from our visits as well and feels like a friend when we come in. She's loving and we are always happy to see her too. Overall, I absolutely love coming here. Ashley, Pat, Judy all made us feel so cared for and the food was divine. It's high quality yumminess. So solid every time. Ambience is beautiful. Spacious. Well lit. Plants inside. Cozy. Warm and welcoming. Parking is easy. I always find free street parking right in front.

Went to The Arbour last night to celebrate my son's birthday. It was our first time and we love it! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We ordered the spicy beef chili, shrimp penne, seared yellowfin tuna, lobster risotto and NY steak. The service was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for date night, family night or corporate gathering.

I have been here several times. I love the ambience of the restaurant , especially when I sat in the middle of the restaurant, feeling the cozy and casual vibe from the bar and the open kitchen. It definitely feels different if I got seated at the small tables closer to the door. Last night, I arrived earlier than my friend so I went straight to the bar for the watermelon drop. It was refreshing but a little light on the vodka. Once my friend arrived, we ordered the roasted asparagus for appetizer. It was a little too rich with the cheese but nevertheless it was tasty. Our original server somehow left us and another server came but didn't notify us. It was a little awkward but service was fine. For the entree, I ordered the roasted salmon and my friend ordered the seabass. Both weee fantastically prepared. We debated a little if we should have desserts or have it somewhere else. We were amazed at the dessert the couple had next to us. They had the bread pudding which they said it was awesome. We instead tried the olive oil pudding. I'm glad we tried it. It was delicious with strawberries and almond brittles. Perfect size to share. It was a nice dinner at an amazing restaurant. Nice ambience to catchup with a friend.

Chef Ian never disappoints. We were seated at a beautiful window seat for great people watching on Lake Ave. We started with the appetizer special of fresh crab salad on toast which was recommended by our server. It was dressed perfectly. I ordered the black pepper crusted chicken with green beans, fingerling potatoes served with an onion cream. Everyone kept stealing bites of it! My son got the duo of duck and the caprese salad, and was so pleased with both. His girlfriend got the salmon which was served with a delicious succotash and spicy chili foam. My boyfriend ordered the fusilli pasta with fresh pesto and pine nuts, it was huge and my son was thrilled to get to take the left overs to go. We finished off with a slice of cheesecake which had a lovely cherry compote and a bonus coconut macaroon (not the French kind) the yummy all coconut one. A better meal may not exist in Pasadena.

The Bucatini Spaghetti was my favorite--I ate so much it hurt, but it was worth it! Everything else was great too. My friend loved the Duo Duck and potato croquettes, and the Caesar salad was decent. We enjoyed the bread and butter, and they happily offered more. The service was very friendly!

Note this is a review from a team dinner on May 15 when we went to Pasadena HQ Wine Selection: We ordered a fantastic South African white wine, a delightful treat since we had a South African colleague with us. We also celebrated our geographically diverse team with a bottle of California wine--both were excellent choices that added fun and character to the night. Food: My seared yellowfin tuna was buttery and delicious, a true highlight. We also shared some yummy appetizers and dessert, all of which were well-prepared and flavorful. Service: Stellar service throughout the evening. Our server was attentive and made sure our team had a great experience. Ambiance: Perfect for a work dinner--elegant yet comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a big team gathering. Parking: Parking might be challenging, so we opted to walk to the restaurant. It turned out to be a great decision, allowing us to take in the sights of downtown Pasadena and giving us a nice stroll to help process all the yummy food afterward. Overall: This was such a good, albeit pricey dinner, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Very pleased with this establishment. The staff were able to seat us right away on a Tuesday night. Nice interior, a little dim but not too bad. Service was great, appetizers and main were great, though the entrees took a little while to arrive. But when they did it was exquisite. We got the duck, sea bass, and scallops (special menu). All very good.

Went here with a bunch of old friends and it and not disappoint. We ordered so much and tasted everything of everyone else's. We agreed that the duck was the best and most flavorful, but everything was well prepared. Our server was so nice and attentive. She was super friendly and even took our photo. We sat on a big booth in the back and it was super comfy. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. This is a popular place with lots of big parties, so it was a little loud, so be prepared for a charged atmosphere. It was good vibes though for sure.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Arbour! Between the ambiance, service, and food, 5 stars all around! My boyfriend and I were celebrating a special occasion so we pulled out all the stops. We shared a bottle of rose recommended by our waitress, which was great! We also started with the potato croquettes which honestly were fancy tater tots with bacon, a cream sauce, and cheese - but definitely still delish. For entrees we had the lobster risotto and chicken piccata! We loved both! Definitely will be back to try more!!
